I am the student / Maha, a third-year student at the Faculty of Arts and Sciences - Department of Home Economics - Nutrition track .
It was my first participation in the Creativity Olympiad , and I was very interested in winning one of the first places , but after that I realized that the real victory is not winning the place, but rather the amount of experience and benefits that I can hardly count .
First: This competition changed a lot in me , refined my personality , and I learned a lot from it . The (Creativity Olympiad) is only the beginning of the beginning .
Second : My failure to win is not evidence of the weakness of my project, or that other projects are better . This is not the goal of the competition. The goal of the competition is to create a generation that is aware and interested in it, and has the most important skills . This is what the “Mawhiba” Foundation created in me , and this is an investment in the children of this country .
Third: My first innovation was a wheelchair for paraplegics , which helps people with this category to practice their daily lives normally.
After a long time, I stopped working on “ Mawhiba ”, and here I am returning to it today with all my love and passion in my third year of university . I started my second project , which is called “Innovation (Autism Application) , ” which helps in preparing and directing the behaviors of the autistic child , and helps in building a personality capable of facing daily burdens and pressures.
- The impact of the application locally and globally:
It studies the behavior and disorders of the autistic child . It consists of illustrative pictures accompanied by words, signs , or physical movements that have meaning for the child , helping him understand instructions, schedule, emotions , rewards, or warnings of negative behaviors .
If it weren’t for God , then my family , college and friends , I wouldn’t have achieved these accomplishments. They were the ones who provided me with the initial support for my project, in addition to being an essential and important reference for me .
I would like to thank Dr. Walaa Mohamed Kamel, the activity supervisor , and the Scientific Summit Club at the College of Arts and Sciences in Baljurashi , for her support and encouragement.
There are many hopes and ambitions that I hope to God Almighty will become a reality one day, but no one can achieve his desires except with God’s will, and God willing, I will strive hard to achieve my ambitions, to be a source of pride for this generous country and a good ambassador to be emulated .
I would like to thank my friends and tell them to do their best in their projects and to use all their energy and abilities to develop their skills .
In the end, fate is in God's hands, so do what you can and trust in God.
