My journey in Mawhiba began when I joined the Mawhiba ” scale in the third grade of primary school , and thanks to God I got a high score that qualified me to join the advanced science and mathematics program (STEM ) without fees , and I was regular in attending the program’s classes every Saturday at the Andalusia Schools in Jeddah .

Attending these classes helped me expand my horizons and facilitate my comprehension and understanding of the school curricula in science, mathematics and computer science . Then I registered my data during the summer vacation of the fifth grade of primary school while I was moving to the sixth grade of primary school in the Mawhib ” competition in the field of mathematics affiliated with the King Abdulaziz and His Companions Foundation for Giftedness and Creativity , which aims to discover gifted students and nominate the distinguished ones among them to join the International Olympiad teams.

The competition was held in two stages ; electronic and paper . Thanks be to God and His guidance, I passed the electronic test , then the written test , and moved on to the three basic courses stage . Each course lasted a full week , and whoever was nominated from the first course qualified for the second course .. and so on .

Throughout the three weeks of the courses , in addition to attending  the Rawad Al Khaleej Schools in Abhur to receive the scientific material for the course , I committed myself to doing my schoolwork , reviewing the school lessons, and memorizing the Qur’an every day , as I am a student at the Dhikr Schools for memorizing the Holy Qur’an.

Thanks to God Almighty, I passed the tests of the three basic courses .. and thus I qualified for the first meeting in my journey with the International Olympiad during the mid-year break between the two semesters , when I was nominated for the winter meeting at Princess Noura University in Riyadh .. and it was forbidden for any family companion to be present , and my only means of communication with my parents throughout the two weeks was phone calls .

Yes, I got very tired , yes , I stayed up late a lot , studying alone without anyone’s help , and I had advanced math skills to match a team nominated to compete in the first international Olympiad . Yes, I learned to take responsibility and wake up in the morning without my mother waking me up as I used to , for fear that I would be deprived of completing my opportunity in the forum .

I learned seriousness, commitment and insistence on working hard to achieve my goal , and I reaped the fruits of my hard work and effort by being nominated for the Spring Electronic Forum, which I am currently enrolled in .

My other experience with Mawhiba ” is that I passed the Mawhiba test this year in the sixth grade with a high score, which qualified me for the school partnership program , as well as for acceleration . However, I preferred to stay in my school in order to memorize the Holy Book of God , who bestowed upon me His blessings and distinguished me with Mawhiba . I ask God to harness it to serve my religion, my country, and my community .

My passion for mathematics made me not hesitate to be among the forty-three thousand students who applied from different parts of the Kingdom to compete in the Kang A Ro Mathematics Competition 2020 , in which I obtained a final score of 120/120, and thus I was one of the winners of the competition and won the gold medal .

I learned from my experiences in Mawhiba that if you don’t take risks, you won’t know the taste of success.. and if you don’t go through new experiences, you won’t excel and know the path of creativity .. My ambition reaches the sky by achieving great accomplishments and branding them with the banner of the generous homeland .
