At an early age, Hazem Al-Zuhofi was able to give his community three innovations, one of which reduces the rate of road accidents, another contributes to saving water, and the third serves diabetes patients.

He is Hazem Abdul Aziz Al-Zahoufi, studying in high school in Madinah. He has been known for his leadership personality since his early years. He was a leader to his classmates since he was in kindergarten. At home, he was known for his challenge, quick learning, high self-motivation, and taking responsibility. His father assigned him the task of managing and preparing family trips at a very early age. However, his most prominent interests were disassembling and reassembling devices.

I joined the Gifted Center at an early age... and that's where it started! There is no doubt that this behavior was initially a cause of annoyance for Hazem's parents, but day after day they discovered that his behavior was nothing but a result of their son's high intellectual curiosity, which is one of the most prominent characteristics of gifted people, in addition to other traits such as self-motivation, high energy, curiosity, inquisitiveness, leadership personality, and creative thinking. Accordingly, his parents decided to enroll him in the Gifted Center when he was ten years old.

 From there, Hazem was able to enroll in twenty training courses in the field of scientific thinking, invention, robotics, and creative problem-solving strategies, specifically CPS. From this knowledge and skills, Hazem discovered his inclination towards invention, and was finally able to reach the National Olympiad for Scientific Creativity “Ibd’a” with his invention, “The Global Safe Car,” achieving fifth place in the Kingdom, and was finally nominated to participate in the Slovak Invention Exhibition. 

His innovations:

First Innovation: Global Safe Car

This is the innovation that achieved fifth place in the National Olympiad for Scientific Creativity “Ibd’a”. This innovation addresses the problem of traffic accidents in general, prevents the driver from exceeding the legal speed, and alerts him to sudden road changes.

The idea of ​​the innovation is based on modifying the roads so that they are provided with colored lines on the street that determine the legal speed, and at the same time the cars are provided with sensors that oblige the driver to adhere to the legal speed for that street, and alert him in the event of dangerous turns.

The second innovation:

Hazem says that this innovation is the simplest of his innovations, as it only cost him a simple piece that he added to the faucet to help save water and reduce its waste, in compliance with the command of God Almighty and to preserve His greatest blessing, which is water.

The third innovation:

It is an innovation that alerts diabetics in the event of a malfunction, such as a decrease or increase in the sugar level in the body, and thus reduces any complications that may occur as a result, God forbid.

I used to sit with all segments of society and always discuss with them, and this is what developed my way of thinking!

Hazem attributes the development of his thinking style to his diverse experiences, as he used to mix with all classes of society, including doctors, engineers, sheikhs, teachers and students, and always discuss with them, which had a great impact on his culture, his skill in dialogue and persuasion and his knowledge base. Hazem was and still is keen to expose himself to new experiences and knowledge, from thinking courses to karate and self-defense courses, from invention courses to diving courses, and this is what his rich biography reflects for his age.
