"A visit to an innovation exhibition may create a unique innovator on a global level.."

This is what Dr. Najia Al-Zanbaqi’s experience proved after her visit to the 2008 Innovation Exhibition, which was implemented by Mawhiba in the Riyadh region at that time.

Dr. Nagia tells her story: I had the honor of participating in the 2008 Innovation Exhibition with my colleague, Ms. Nuha Al-Zayla’i, with a number of new educational games. There, we got to know Talent. The Innovation Exhibition was the beginning of my real launch, and we learned a lot. It was the beginning of our real launch..!

I have been a supervisor for two consecutive years on Mawhiba’s summer enrichment programs, which means I have attended many courses on creative thinking, creative problem solving, and other creativity strategies, plus working in such programs requires creative outputs!

Besides, I had learned from the Innovation Exhibition that a new idea must be registered as a patent before it is published, and this was the lesson that made a big difference in my scientific career. I learned from the Innovation Exhibition that a new idea must be registered as a patent before it is published. I had many published research papers whose results were considered new scientific discoveries, but I could not register them as a patent because they were published.

Two years later, my colleague, Ms. Nuha Zeilai, and I were able to participate in the 2010 Innovation Exhibition with two inventions, one of which won an award presented by King Saud University, and the other received a bronze medal from the exhibition’s jury.

The success story did not stop here.. These works were later nominated by Mawhiba to participate in the German INA Exhibition and the Geneva International Exhibition, and then the awards and medals followed..!

We got two certificates and a gold medal, and a bronze medal from the Korean Exhibition of Women Inventors, and we got a diploma and a silver medal from the Geneva International Exhibition of Inventions. We participated in the International Exhibition of Inventions (INEA) in Germany and got a certificate from the Federation of Women Inventors in Bosnia and Herzegovina for an invention as the owner of the best new invention idea, a diploma of excellence from the Federation of Inventors in Syria, a diploma of excellence from the Federation of Women Inventors in Taiwan, and many other awards.!

Dr. Najia Al-Zanbaqi's innovations:

This innovation aims to quickly and safely diagnose a blood sample infected with any of the various blood diseases. This innovation has so far won eight awards presented by various local and international entities .

Second innovation: Using Si-Lu extract to treat toxoplasmosis

It aims to treat toxoplasmosis or cat disease with a natural extract, in a small dose without any apparent side effects on the person infected with this disease. It has won three local and international awards.

Other achievements:

Dr. Nagia Al-Zanbaqi’s career truly deserves to be a model of giving, creativity and productivity. She has published 29 research papers and authored three books: “The Other Side of the Placenta,” “The Liquid of Life... In Which Direction,” and another book in print, entitled “Human Parasites.” She has also attended 60 training courses, in addition to presenting many training courses for female members and students of King Abdulaziz University in Jeddah, and her scientific participation in many local and international scientific and educational conferences.

Recently, she had the honor of being nominated by an international scientific journal in America to be an associate editor of the journal for the year 2011, and Lab Lambert Foundation contacted her to print and market her doctoral thesis for its scientific value.
