Mawhiba is a Saudi institution with an international dimension and a global outlook. Its accreditation as a European center for supporting talent will enhance its international presence, with 22 centers and 300 entities affiliated with the European Association for the Support of Talents in 38 countries around the world. It will support Mawhiba’s capabilities in its efforts to keep pace with the best global practices in discovering and nurturing talent. The institution will share its experience with global centers as an international house of expertise for supporting and nurturing talent and creativity . The Kingdom is one of the first countries to obtain this membership outside the European Union, due to its pioneering role locally, regionally and internationally in caring for and discovering the gifted. The European Association for the Support of the Gifted is a non-governmental organization, and was established as a result of the huge demand for coordination between European countries, to work as a communications network to enhance the exchange of information between parties interested in students with high abilities, including teachers, researchers, scientists and parents.
