About the program:

​​​​​​​​​​​​​​King Abdulaziz & his Companions Foundation for Giftedness & Creativity (Mawhiba) offers a number of services including the Academic Writing and SAT Preparation Program, which aims to prepare students to join the ​Excellence Program​ and increase the chances of admission to international universities and future scholarships.​

 

Target group:

Available for students of the National Program for Gifted Identification from the first year of secondary school

 

Program Objectives

1. Preparing students to take the SAT test

2. Increasing the student's chance of being accepted into summer programs at prestigious American universities

3. Increasing the student's chance of being accepted into the best American universities

•  Registration in the program is available for first-year secondary school students during the month of February of each year, and it is implemented during the period from April to May of each year.

 

Target group

Students of the National Program for Giftedness Identification from the first year of secondary school.
 

Program registration requirements

  • The student must be of Saudi nationality or have a Saudi mother.
  • Other non-Saudis will be accepted, not exceeding 10% of the total number of students.
  • The student must obtain a score of 1310 or higher on the Mawhiba scale for mental abilities.
  • The student must obtain a score of no less than 80 on the STEP English Proficiency Test, or its equivalent in alternative international tests

Program Services

  • The program trains students for the SAT test in its two sections: Mathematics and English.
  • Three days a week for 6 weeks, totaling 54 training hours.
 

After the program

  • Students receive a certificate after completing 80% of attendance in the program.
  • Helping students register for the SAT  

This program will:

  • Preparing students to take the SAT
  • Increase the student's chance of being accepted into summer programs at prestigious American universities.
  • Increase students' chances of being accepted into top American universities

Training times 

Training is provided 3 times a week (Sunday, Tuesday and Saturday)

Sunday and Tuesday From 4 to 6:30 pm
Saturday From 4 to 8 pm

Groups will be determined based on the student's level after taking the pre-test.

What is the Excellence Qualification Program?

Qualification for Excellence is the gateway to the Mawhiba Program for admission to prestigious universities “Excellence”, through which the student is prepared to be able to meet the admission requirements for the Excellence Program. This stage is the first step in the student’s journey to seek admission to the best American universities.

Yes, you can suffice by taking the Mawhiba Test for Multiple Mental Abilities in English.

Is there a percentage for the student's attendance to obtain the certificate?
Yes, the student must attend all lectures and activities in the program and will be denied the award of the certificate if his/her attendance rate is less than (80%) of the program hours. It is also permissible, as an exception, to award the certificate to the student if his/her attendance rate is less than (80%) of the program hours if he/she presents an acceptable excuse, provided that the attendance rate is not less than (70%) of the program hours.

Can I get a refund for the guardian’s contribution if I do not attend the program?

Yes, and the specified contribution for participation in the program will be refunded if the student apologizes for attending the program according to the following controls:

  1. The student must have an emergency and compelling circumstance that prevents him from attending the program, documented in an official document, such as a health problem that prevents him from attending, or a first-degree death.
  2. Taking into account paragraph No. (1), it is required that the apology request be submitted by the student or his guardian one week before the start date of the program.
  3. Taking into account paragraphs No. (1) and (2), 10% of the specified financial contribution for participation in the program will be deducted, provided that the refunded amount is not less than (150) riyals.
  4. The apology request for the program must be made by contacting customer service.

Taking into account the above paragraphs, if the student withdraws, or does not complete the program during implementation, he or she is not entitled to claim a refund of the financial contribution.
