About the program
The Mawhiba English Preparation Program is a program that works to Develop students’ linguistic skills and abilities such as listening, reading, writing and speaking. The program is held for 8 to 9 weeks and is implemented in cooperation with an institute specialized in developing students’ language skills.
Before the start of the program, students take a test to measure their language level and are assigned to classes that match their current language level.

​Your registration in the National Program for Giftedness Identification is your gateway to joining the English Language Qualification Program, after you achieve the required qualification level.

Join the Mawhiba English Language Rehabilitation Program

Register during October and join the program that starts during December and ends in February of each year.

 

Eligible for the program

 Students of the National Program for Giftedness Identification from the first intermediate grade to the third intermediate grade.

 

Program registration requirements
  1.  The student must be of Saudi nationality or have a Saudi mother. The remaining non-Saudis will be accepted, not exceeding 10% of the total number of students.
  2.    Obtaining a score of 1350 on the Mawhiba scale for multiple mental abilities.
  3.   The student must have the basics and components of the English language, including vocabulary and its meanings, structures, grammar, reading comprehension, listening comprehension, and written analysis:
Listening: The ability to hear and understand what is being said. 
Reading: The ability to read and understand written words.
-Speaking: The ability to express oneself orally and to dialogue with others.
- Writing: the ability to write sentences and express oneself in writing.

Request for partial exemption from the value of the financial contribution:  
You can apply for a partial exemption from the financial contribution value for registration in the programs through the registration system if you belong to one of the following categories, provided that supporting documents are attached to verify the validity of the application.  
 •​ Families registered with social security. 
 • Affiliated with a charitable organization.  
 • Children of martyrs. 
  • Their status is proven by a legal document (insolvency document).

The program is implemented (remotely) through an e-learning platform that serves students in all regions of the Kingdom.

The program is held for 8 weeks at a rate of 7 and a half hours per week according to the following schedule:

What is the qualification program for the Mawhiba English Language Qualification Program?

The Mawhiba English Language Rehabilitation Program is a program that works to raise the students' linguistic level and develops linguistic abilities such as listening, reading, writing and speaking. The program is held over 8 to 9 weeks and is implemented in cooperation with an entity specialized in developing students' language skills.

Is it required for a student to participate in the Global Enrichment Program if he/she is a participant in the Mawhiba English Language Rehabilitation Program?

It is not required. The student can participate in the Global Mawhiba Enrichment Program even if he/she is not participating in the Mawhiba English Language Qualification Program, but on condition that he/she passes it. For admission criteria in the global enrichment talent program

Are the classes for male and female students separate or shared?

Classes are separated by gender.

How do I nominate myself/my son/daughter for the Mawhiba English Language Rehabilitation Program?

The student must be registered in the National Program for Discovering Gifted Students.

Is there a specific city where the Mawhiba English Language Rehabilitation Program will be held?

The program serves male and female students in all cities of the Kingdom (remotely), for those who meet the nomination criteria for participation mentioned.

Is there a contribution value for participating in the Mawhiba English Language Rehabilitation Program?

Yes, the contribution value is set at 400 riyals.

How is the parent's contribution to the program paid?
  1. Through the available payment services by choosing the payment method (credit cards - Mada).

Is there a percentage for the student's attendance to obtain the certificate?
Yes, the student must attend all lectures and activities in the program and will be denied the award of the certificate if his/her attendance rate is less than (80%) of the program hours. It is also permissible, as an exception, to award the certificate to the student if his/her attendance rate is less than (80%) of the program hours if he/she presents an acceptable excuse, provided that the attendance rate is not less than (70%) of the program hours.
